Hello and welcome to my first newsletter. My name is Joey and I’m sure if you’re like 90% of the people I’ve met you’re probably wondering if that is short for something else like Josephine or Joanne. It’s not. After having two sons and a daughter, my father decided he wanted a child to bear his name, Joseph, so my parents came up with the name Joey Lynn.
This week is packed with loads of events so make sure to check the calendar on my website for your daily dose of fun each day. Don’t forget to change your clocks this Saturday for Daylight Savings Time! I’m really excited to have more sunshine each day and to start gardening soon. I miss the feeling of digging in the dirt and having contests with my son to see who could find the most worms the quickest. We just moved into this home in October so I have to start all of the gardens in our new yard from the ground up. (Sidenote, I'm a HUGE fan of puns so you can expect to see those quite often in my articles.)
